On Feb 15th I received this email:

“The photo that you put of your mother in the blog post reminds me so much of this girl (name removed) whom I have been trying to save from a similar fate. …do not know what is going to happen to her but I haven’t given up hope and am praying that a miracle would take place and somehow she would escape that terrible fate that many girls like your mother and she have to endure.”

The woman attacked by six men in New Delhi has led to days of protests and demands for authorities to take tougher action. isamiahmed: The 23yr old girl that was gangraped on a bus in Delhi, India has died after battling with her life for 13days. She died as a result of her physical beating- with brain damage and her intestines falling out of her body from being best with an iron rod. I really think she will RIP because there’s no way you can live a normal life after that. If you’re the praying type, think of her tonight. Justice For Saira was just the start. We have to make a change and die with a thousand bullets in us for pissing off the right people as a result. We have to make sure girls can take a bus safely in Delhi, because they can in London.
